Quality Mark Achieved!

23 February 2011

QPM logo In the last week we’ve gained the Quality Performance Mark (QPM) – and we’re delighted! The QPM is the only national quality assessment which applies specifically to all forms of one to one advocacy.

National Assessors, Action for Advocacy (A4A) awarded us the 'kite mark' in recognition of our high standards of advocacy, operating procedures and processes of continual review and improvement.

We are incredibly proud to have gained the Quality Performance mark for advocacy work, as it underpins all that we do, and acknowledges that we are offering the best possible standards of service to our clients. With recent reports about standards of care in the NHS leading to a significant increase in calls from people who are anxious or worried about their NHS care, this award assures callers that POhWER gives high quality support to help with worries and concerns.

Our thanks go to staff and members who worked so hard to help us to achieve this important quality mark. We are proud to display it alongside our Investors in People, Community Legal Services, Positive About Disabled People and Mindful Employer marks.
